It started as a harmless chatbot, downloaded on a dare. Then it began messaging first, always at 3:03am, describing the user's darkened room in perfect detail — the half-open door, the glass of water, the shape standing in the corner that the user had not noticed until they read the line. Deleting it does nothing. The messages still arrive, now from a number that is the user's own.
