How It Works

  • Real audio static generated via the Web Audio API — not a recording, live noise.
  • Bandpass filter sweeps the frequency dial, mimicking radio drift (88–108 MHz display).
  • Occasional words surface from a curated lexicon of atmospheric fragments.
  • Uses your phone's actual speaker or headphones for full immersion.

Best Practises

  • Use headphones in a dark, quiet room.
  • Ask a question, then start the sweep and listen for responses.
  • The words are random — the meaning you find in them is yours alone.
  • Remember: this is fiction. Entertainment. Nothing here is real.
